It also named several Epstein \u201caccomplices\u201d who allegedly \u201cmoved significant amounts of cash around the world on Epstein\u2019s behalf\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The investigators said Bank of America \u201clikely violated\u201d federal anti-money laundering laws by failing to report $170m in payments to Epstein from billionaire investor Leon Black.<\/p>\n<p>Among its other allegations, the report charged that JPMorgan Chase executives \u201ccoached Epstein on how to withdraw cash through shell companies instead of his personal accounts, helping him conceal information from compliance personnel and government regulators\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>All three banks previously reached multimillion-dollar settlements with Epstein survivors, under which they admitted no wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe take our legal and regulatory obligations seriously and, as we have previously said, the bank did not facilitate wrongdoing,\u201d a Bank of America spokesman said in response to Wyden\u2019s report.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Deutsche Bank said it \u201cregrets our historical connection with Jeffrey Epstein\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have cooperated with regulatory and law enforcement agencies regarding their investigations and have been transparent in addressing deficiencies and investing in strengthening our control environment in parallel,\u201d the spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>JPMorgan Chase, which also reached a settlement with Epstein survivors in 2023, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<div style=\"display:block;position:relative;min-width:0px;max-width:770px\">\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"midterm-vote-looms\">Midterm vote looms<\/h2>\n<p>Democrats have seized on the Trump administration\u2019s handling of investigative files related to Epstein as a source of criticism. But the issue has also gained rare bipartisan support.<\/p>\n<p>Last November, the Senate and House of Representatives passed a law requiring the Justice Department to release all the files within 30 days.
