At the time, Trump said he didn\u2019t consider these to be a breach of the ceasefire,\u201d Fisher said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is very limited information coming from the US side; we don\u2019t know the extent of the operation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to say whether this skirmish is unusual.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"display:block;position:relative;min-width:0px;max-width:770px\">\n<div class=\"video-player-facade-container\"><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Earlier on Monday, a high-level Iranian delegation arrived in Doha to discuss roadblocks to a permanent peace deal.<\/p>\n<p>The arrival of the delegation, which includes Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araghchi and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, came as Trump said that peace talks were \u201cproceeding nicely\u201d, even as he insisted that he would not agree to anything less than a substantial deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all \u2014 Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before \u2014 And nobody wants that!\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p>Trump also sought to tie the peace negotiations to a commitment by Muslim-majority countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Pakistan, to sign up to the Abraham Accords to normalise ties with Israel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt may be possible that one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted, but most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be,\u201d Trump wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Signed in 2020 during Trump\u2019s first term, the Abraham Accords normalised relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>Sudan also agreed to establish diplomatic ties with Israel but has yet to ratify the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>In a follow-up post on Monday, Trump said that he expected Iran\u2019s enriched uranium to either be turned over to the US for disposal or \u201cdestroyed in place or, at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, being witness to this process and event\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Iran\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that Washington and Tehran had made progress in their talks, but downplayed the prospect of an impending breakthrough.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo say that we have reached a conclusion on a large portion of the issues under discussion would be correct.
